On August 1st, 1944 about 40,000 of the Polish Home Army rose up and attacked the infiltrating Germans, leading to a 63 day battle that eventually lead to the fall of Warsaw and the beginning of Soviet political domination. Cold Fusion manages to capture the essence of the time on 63 Days (Part IV). Using basic musical elements, 9th of August Act I consists of an echoing piano, moody synths, militarist beats, and samples. Musically, 9th of August Act II has a bit less to offer, but it still retains a scary and sad feel to it. With 63 Days (Part IV) Cold Fusion present a pair of moving instrumentals that are beyond being categorized in any musical genre and should be judged more for the mood and feelings they conjure up than anything else.
