My musical endeavours started back in 1995 when a friend of mine showed me how to use the computer as a tool of making music. I was hooked immediately, at my hands were the possibilites to write majestic orchestral pieces as my favorite composers in the movies did. Ehrm well the possibilites were there anyway, the path of creating led now straight ahead. Many hours did I spend just writing music trying to find the magic of a well composed tune. At the end of 1996 I had music enough for a demo, but lacking in sound quality and interesting tunes i decided to drop it. The result of reworking and writing new material resulted in "The Seventh Gate" my first release! Boy was I proud back then. Since it was quite well recieved it was with confidence I started work on what became only a promo release with no song titles or anything. I changed the name for my project, from Shadow of the Concealed to Rising Shadows. The reason I never put an effort in a proper release was that I had changed musicprogram, sounds and styles (experimented alot). The realization that I needed to know more about the way music is conceived had me started taking lessons in musical theory and a lot of other things you would probably pass off as boring...z zz sorry... So the 1999 CD-R was a whole new aspect with songs getting closer to the sound i was chasing. Big fat and dark orchestral to sum it up. In another way 1999 was a breaktrough for me as I started work on a scoring a friends Horrormovie. "Gisslet From Swartoga" took about 10 days to write and resulted in 40 minutes of Classical music mixed with Italian-style horror movie music! A style which later would be the foundation for Anima Morte.

Through internet I also came in contact with two american composers (Chris Wright & Russell Karloff) with whom I started a collaboration to write a massive orchestral piece. The result became Ragnarok: A Symphonic Saga. The result was 3 movements and 45+ minutes of music depicting the end of the world according to nordic mythology.

What followed was more work, more studying, more demos and filmscores trying to get the attention of the public. Mp3.com was a big help before it all fell apart, but with over 26.000 listens and lots of positive feedback it was a nice contribution to a young strifling composer.

Early 2004 I joined gothic/doom metal band In Grey as a keyboardist and Rising Shadows suddenly woke from it?s slumber with the addition of singer Linda-li. A new demo was recorded called Horror Vacui and in early 2005 we contributed to the Waerloga Compilation; A Tribute To Uglakh along with acts such as The soil bleeds black, Za Frumi, Sagor & Swing, Autumn tears and many more.

In Grey recorded a second album spring/summer 2005 called Liyah. In december however I decided to leave the band to pursue my own musical visions again. Shortly after that, when visiting Blueflame Studio with another project, I was asked to join extreme prog metalband Loch Vostok, which I of course accepted!

Hence the start of 2006 was divided between Loch Vostok activities and completing the Rising Shadows fullength album called 'Falling Deep Within' Another compilation was also released, SWARM from Cold Spring Records featuring the Fredrik Klingwall track 'Come Inside'.

In April Loch Vostok went on a support slot for legendary metal-icon King Diamond throughout Scandinavia, which for me personally was a great experience since King Diamond has been a big source of inspiration to me. The summer of 2006 was spent working on the tracks for the Works of Woe EP and the Chronicles In Decay compilation. Interrupted only by doing keyboards for the Machinery album Degeneration. The rest of the autumn was mostly dedicated to writing the flagellation EP Incinerate Disintegrate together with Daniel except for some Loch Vostok demorecording sessions for the upcoming album.

In December the Works of Woe project was finished together with Petter Wallebo. I also took up the work on Chronicles In Decay which was finished in February 2007.

In April both the Flagellation EP 'Incinerate Disintegrate' and the Anima Morte single 'Viva Morte!' was released through Last Entertainment. Summer of 2007 most of the time was spent working on the new Machinery record and finishing the Anima Morte debutalbum.

In August 2007 Chronicles In Decay was released, exactly 10 years after my first demo with Shadow of the Concealed. A collection of songs spanning over the last decade with lots of rare and unreleased tracks.

Face The Sea Of Darkness, the debutalbum of Anima Morte was released on the newly formed Dead Beat Media in November, a newly formed US-label which are set out to promote soundtrack stuff from the great 70ies and 80ies and no not the Flashdance kind of soundtracks but zombie and slashers! The reviews for the album has been absolutely astonishing!

January 2008, recording more keyboards for the new Loch Vostok album, which is going to be one epic mother... as usual it is full of Teddy's quirky writing.

February started the sessions for the new Rising Shadows album. With some interruptions hopefully it will be finished in May. In April I did session keyboard-work for Markus Isbergs (ex-Machinery guitarist) new band Desultor.

30th of April my soloalbum (which has actually been finished for some years) 'The Resilience' is released for free online via Last Entertainment (CD version coming later).
