Out on A Different Drum is Somegirl's third album "The Velvet Hour". Included with the dozen original new songs on "The Velvet Hour" are three cover versions of hits from Duran Duran and ABBA, and the old-time classic "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps". The female fronted duo Somegirl (now Endless Blue singer Laura and Stephen Mork) formed in the fall of 2000 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, albeit with another singer, Kristin Buckman who left the band after the first album. In the summer of 2001 Somegirl was offered a contract by A Different Drum and completed their debut CD, "I’ve Been Known to be Completely Wrong" which was released in 2002. After a change in the lineup, the band released their second full-length release, "She's Full of Secrets", in June of 2005 with Amanda Cruz on vocals. The first single, "Feel Free", was released in March of the same year. Another lineup later, the third album is a fact.
