The Arizona based industrial band The Strand released their new album on May. The release have one of the longest titles in the scene's history so it seems with "The Strand: Destroyers Of That Which Is Destroyed And Rulers Of That Which Is Not Destroyed". The title was actually chosen via a competition on the band's myspace page won by The Strand fan Daniel Hunter. The new album also means the first recorded material with the band's new vocalist Laura McQuaig and new keyboardist Elias Lewter. Half of the songs for the album will feature Laura while the older songs still feature Kimberly Brown. Kimberly Brown left the band to finish her college degree in Texas.
