MODE....... VBRkbps / Joint-Stereo
REL.DATE.. 18-06-2007
The history of Russian label "Shadowplay" began in 2004 from releasing of Russian
goth/darkwave scene compilation "Colours of Black". Pretty succesfull edition not only
inside the Riussia but all around the world showed constant interest to such kind of
compilations. And already next year the work on "Colours of Black Vol.2" was started and
compilation was released in May, 2006. During those 2 years label prepared and released
about 30 CDs, which is very good counting the quality of cds/marketing and spreading to
trading points.
Here we have the third compilation, which speaks on itself - Influence...
At the beginning of darkwave and ethereal genres forming, almost all bands had own face, but
time passed and more groups appeared mainly imitating those pioneers and it became pretty
hard to find out staff which really worths to listen.
This compilation is an attempt to combine most bright representatives, pioneers and also
young formations, but not less interesting...
Definitely excellent compilation, which you will listen on one breath.
