In this work, Biosphere returns to rhythmic music, but not of the sort that characterized
his early, classic, techno-influenced albums, like Microgravity and Patashnik. Instead, he
borrows an idea already broached by a handful of other artists - loaning rhythm tracks from
"classic jazz" - and makes it his own by encompassing it in his signature otherwordly sound.
