There is no history of SUI GENERIS UMBRA. It
exists somewhere in the space since ever.
Maciej and eLL are mere souls who try to
render some of its fragments audible. A
collection of those fragments have been
called 'umbra' that is a Latin word and
means 'phantom' - something that you think
exits, but that is not real... The second
part of the name: 'sui generis' originates
from Latin as well and means "different from
everybody and everything". "Continuing class
alone". "Unique". And this is what SUI
GENERIS UMBRA perseveres in - to create the
incomparable ...and simultaneously make you
experience something you have never
undergone before...

Each set of the palpable SUI GENERIS UMBRA
bits always acts as an illustration for a
given 'philosophy' [~ 'concept']. This kind
of 'philosophy' is in no way innovative, it
is simply the statement of a fact. The
purpose of this is to draw your attention to
the issue and make you more aware of its
existence, and hopefully, stimulate your
mind to reflect upon the subject, even if
for a moment...
