Label begins its following period of 2008/2009 years, and first
autumn release will be the powerful return of the Australian
duet The Crystalline Effect with their second full-lenght album
"Identity", which follows the past year release of Hypothermia
(remix-ep). Sure, The Crystalline Effect (vocal + texts: Elenor
Rayner, music and creation: Pete Crane) is one of the most
active (due this year the band had concerts in Hungary, Holland,
Estonia and Latvia), and interesting bands among the label`s
roster, which skillfully combines the dancing rate, includes
elements of trip-hop, synthpop, techno and even traditional EBM
with the melodious, slightly depressive voice of female singer.
Album can listen to both the fans of danceable synthpop with
female vocal (tracks as Blue Sea, How I Get Out, Ialundra, Five
Ways To Run and the last composition of the album remix for
Nothing Warm This Room done by the hungarian guys from Impact
Pulse) and the fans of the slower, spellbound melodies in the
key of such groups as Collide, Hungry Lucy, full of gloomy
magnetism and crystalline as "glass" voice of Elenor
(Researching Us, Life Has Failed You).
The two Australians are masters of creating catching
music-sculptures without falling into boring primitive banality.
So what, the past 2,5 years from their debut "Glass" and the
obtained result give all rights to say that the band is in a
creative takeoff and is full of original innovation ideas.
